In the last thrill-packed installment of this series I explained some of the lesser known tools of Satanism, but what of the SYMBOLS OF THE DEVIL. We all know the common ones, the baphomet, the inverted pentagram, the "no right turn on red" sign, but there are many more insidious symbols which you might not recognize as easily...

THE SEAL OF LEVIATHAN

The cross is used, as in a map, to indicate that the source of this symbol's power is Leviathan, the serpent of the watery abyss. This symbol is often used in conjunction with Satanic ritual garb as a reminder of the harsh price that Leviathan exacts for those who wear his exotic (and damned) fabrics.

THE REBEL'S SIGIL

This is used by many Satanists to indicate where we must place our agents of resistance. It is part of the struggle to harness, or at least undermine power on earth.

THE CROSS OF THE ALIEN ELITE

This is used by the members of the alien elite as an affirmation of the "third side". The two lines indicate the parallel plains of the real and spiritual, with a crossbar as the lightning bolt, which transcends the realms. It is often used in the middle of numerological spells and is a way we seek to make true that which would otherwise only be Satan's lies.

THE MOON OF CHAOS

This symbol is believed to represent the cycles of the moon. and the influence these have on the world. As you can see the two circles represent the dual nature of the earth, the world of the spiritual and the world of the carnal, both are implied to be under the influence of the chaos moon. This is used by the followers of darkness to demonstrate amusement, often one of the two earths is also drawn as a crescent, symbolising the control over the physical world by the chaos moon, this variation is used as a secret acknowledgement from one Satanist to another.

THE CIRCLE OF POWER

We Satanists associate this symbol of a broken circle with power and like to sneakily put it anywhere that we know people will touch. In touching this symbol you are offering up infernal praise to Satan, and we gain perverse pleasure in making even the holiest people touch it.

RITUAL CHAMBER

These symbols are used either in conjunction or individually to signal Satanists to the presence of a ritual chamber. It is in these chambers that we conduct their our private and diabolical rituals. If you see one of these symbols DO NOT ENTER THAT ROOM... your soul will be in peril!
